I’ve always had a passion for teaching literacy, and have known for a long time that I wanted my career path to lead toward librarianship. I am beyond thrilled that the time has finally come! My ideas are bubbling over, and I look forward to creating meaningful learning experiences while providing resources that reflect the needs of the school community.
When my nose isn’t buried in a book, I enjoy exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest high and low, cooking, crafting, and anything cat-related. I love to ask questions and seek answers about the world around me, and I endeavor to instill that same wonder in students to encourage lifelong learning.
I currently reside in Bothell, Washington with my husband, two daughters, and two kitties. Now that I’ve got my dream job, my next big goal is to one day become a published children’s book author/illustrator! Stay tuned…
